Hotel de Rome was originally built in 1889 as the headquarters of the Dresdner Bank. Overlooking the famous Bebelplatz in the fashionable Mitte district, it is one of the few buildings in the city that retain its original form. Tommaso Ziffer has made full use of the building’s 19th century architecture when creating the hotel’s modern interiors to achieve a strikingly beautiful and dramatic design.
